Who We Are

The Pfeifer Family in the Apothecary at Maxwell Mansion

Adventure Hospitality, LLC is owned and operated by Luke and Monica Pfeifer. Combined the two have over 40 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, both holding degrees in Hospitality Management from Lakeland University in Wisconsin.

In 2020 Luke and Monica acquired Maxwell Mansion a 28-room boutique hotel and historic property on the edge of downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Lake Geneva is 45 minutes from Milwaukee and 75 minutes from Chicago, serving as a popular tourist destination for residents of southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Since acquiring Maxwell Mansion the Pfeifer's have grown revenue significantly and were highly profitable in their first year of operation, something the prior owner was never able to accomplish. As a part of their acquisition the Pfeifer's worked closely with area businesses, a local lender, and the SBA through a certified development company based in Wisconsin. Growing the business was a multi-focused through marketing, branding refocus, cost management, focused event/group business growth, and revenue management. The Pfeifer's have since acquired other property in the Lake Geneva area including a vacation rental house less than a block from Maxwell Mansion.
